Guap converts USDC into a payout to a Nigerian bank account. By using it you agree to what follows.
What the service does
You send USDC from a wallet you control. It is converted and paid into the bank account you specify. Guap does not hold your funds: they move from your wallet into settlement directly. The single exception is a failed payout that cannot be refunded automatically, described below.
Rates and fees
- The rate shown before you confirm is indicative. It moves with the market.
- The rate is fixed when the order is created, and a countdown starts.
- Our fee is already inside the rate you are shown. The naira figure on screen is what reaches the bank account.
- Network and conversion costs are shown separately before you sign, because they are paid to third parties and not to us.
The deposit window
Once an order is created you have until the countdown ends to send. If it lapses before your transfer arrives, the order expires and nothing is owed by either side. If your transfer arrives after it lapses, the funds are not lost, but recovering them is manual and takes time. Message @dxFareed on Telegram with the order ID and your transaction hash.
The account number decides where money goes
We resolve and display the account name registered to the number you enter, so check it. Once confirmed, the payout follows the account number. A payout delivered to an account you typed incorrectly is not reversible by us, and recovering it is a matter between you and the receiving bank.
Failed payouts
If a bank refuses a payout, the funds are refunded. Where you paid from a wallet that can receive the refund directly, that is automatic. Where you paid from a chain that cannot, the funds return to an address Guap controls and are returned to you by hand. We will reach out, but if a payout of yours fails and you have not heard from us, message @dxFareed on Telegram.
What you agree to
- The funds are yours and are not the proceeds of crime.
- You are not using the service on behalf of someone subject to sanctions.
- You are old enough to enter a contract where you live.
- The bank details you enter are correct.
We may refuse or reverse a payout where we reasonably suspect fraud or a legal obligation requires it, and we may share records with a bank, a regulator or law enforcement.
Limits
The service is provided as is. We depend on third parties for conversion and settlement, and on public blockchains, none of which we control. We are not liable for losses caused by their failure or downtime, by a rate moving, or by details you entered incorrectly. What we are liable for is capped at the value of the payout in question.
Contact
Message @dxFareed on Telegram. That reaches a person directly, which for something this small is faster than a support address that nobody is watching.
